Current inputs are applied with positive current flow with both negative terminals of the channel connected for top accuracy. To install the IC200ALG260, a 24 V power supply must connect to A17 and 18 to function. Additionally, LED indicators are standard for this module. Each of these allows the user to know if a problem has occurred and correct that issue quickly. The IC200ALG260 offers eight words of analog input data and reports the under and over range, open wire, loss of power, non-volatile memory fault, and high or low alarm diagnostics. However, additional software configurable parts include per channel selection of 4-20mA current or +/- 10 V voltage inputs, selectable input filter, and pre-channel selection of default values and under/over range levels. In current mode, it may be necessary to supply a separate power supply for isolated inputs.

This module also provides input data with 16 bits of resolution for these devices.
